Lactation & Feeding Assistance:
Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn’t always come easily. You and your baby are learning together in an intimate process that can take time, patience, and support. I am here to gently guide you through proven techniques to help build confidence and encourage a successful breastfeeding journey. In addition, I provide bottle-feeding support, including safe formula preparation and assistance with establishing feeding routines that work best for your family.
Taking Care of Mom
After your baby arrives, the attention often turns to your little one, but it’s equally important to give yourself time to rest, recover, and heal, no matter your birth experience. Postpartum care is essential, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. I can assist with household tasks, help set up baby care stations in your bedroom or on the main floor, and provide healing tools such as pre-made pads and soothing herbal baths to nurture your recovery.
Taking Care of Baby
I provide hands-on support for your little one, including diaper changing, disposal, and baby bathing, as well as skin care to prevent diaper rash and other common concerns. I can help establish a sleep schedule and daily routine, monitor and soothe your baby during naps or nighttime, and offer swaddling techniques for comfort and security. Additionally, I provide guidance on pacifiers and other soothing methods to help your baby feel calm and safe.
Household Chores
I am here to support you and your partner as an extra pair of hands, assisting with light household tasks such as meal prep, laundry, folding, and caring for older siblings. This allows you both to focus on bonding with your baby and prioritizing rest and recovery during the postpartum period.
